Heather Waters, Producer & Strategic Development Consultant
Heather Waters has a background specializing in film and strategic development. She began her career in the performing arts arena singing back-up and lead vocals for world tours and musical events. From the Grand Ole Opry at eleven years old to the Australian Music Festival at nineteen, Waters performed for audiences as intimate as 20 and as large as 20,000 across the globe. Waters worked as an actress and model for many years appearing in various commercials, videos and starring in a feature. She is also a past segment writer, host and co-producer for FOX Network's, Match Point Atlanta (currently airing on The Tennis Channel). For ten years, Waters worked as a freelance writer, producer and communications consultant. She is a Founding Member of the International Association of Coaches (IAC), a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Political Science Association (APSA), the National Scholars Honors Society, and was an active participant in Model United Nations (MUN) and Model Arab League (MAL) at GSU where she was awarded the top diplomacy award in the southeast as the Outstanding Delegate for the Economics Committee. In addition, Waters studied at the Graduate School of Coaching in Corporate & Personal Development, as well as through various other schools within the Thomas Leonard program. She is a certified AFAA Fitness Trainer specializing in Strategic Mental Training for High Performance Athletes, Cycling, Body Training System (BTS), and the Kids BFit Mental and Fitness Conditioning Program. Having toured with ARC Productions and The Noble Woman Project (NWP), which promotes entrepreneurship among women in the U.S. and underdeveloped countries, Waters is an international educator/speaker for women, children, and teens also promoting the development of small businesses, creative living and empowered perspectives. Waters is the owner of three businesses. Waters studied screenwriting and cinematography at the graduate school of GSU and holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and a M.A. degree in Political Science with a specialization in the Middle East & Africa. While at GSU, she served a two-year term as a Teaching/Research Assistant in Global Issues and Feminine Political Theory.
